I was asked to bake some heart shaped cookies for a group meeting and I thought these little Linzer cookies would be perfect! Get the super simple recipe when you click the link below!
Technical Info- ISO 3200, 50mm, f/2.5, 1/400
1 cup butter
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 jar seedless raspberry or strawberry jam
-Mix butter and powdered sugar
-Stir in flour
-Chill dough for at least 30 minutes
-Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness
-Use a Linzer cookie cutter or use a round cookie cutter and a tiny fondant shaped cutter. Cut half of dough with center shape punched out and other half as whole circles.
-Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes
-When cookies are cool, spread jam on a cookie bottom and press a cookie with a shape punched out onto the top to make a sandwich!
