Day 184
Day 184- Veggie Pumpkins
To celebrate Halloween with my pre-k students, each year, we invite the Dads to come in and help their child decorate a pumpkin with vegetables! The pumpkins always turn out so unique and with so much personality! All veggies are attached with round toothpicks. Some pumpkin skins are tough and we use child play hammers to hammer them in. Click blow for a few more examples!

Day 40
Day 40 - Memorial Day
This evening I visited the Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial. This memorial honors American soldiers who lost their lives fighting in the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is currently the only known permanent memorial for those who were killed in those conflicts. The memorial lists the names and ages of the thousands of men and women who died for our country in the past several years. Most of those listed were under the age of 25. It is astonishing to see the amount of men and women in my generation who have died in these wars. For those who live in the area, I recommend you visit it. For more information, visit their website.

Day 4
Happy Easter everyone! This morning my dad and I went on a long walk in search of some Easter Bunnies! We often see bunnies on our nearby walking trail but for the first 2 miles of our walk we didn't see any. We turned around and headed home on the same route and this time, there were lots of bunnies! They must have been sleeping in!
Technical info- ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/50
