We have searched all over South Eastern Florida, for the past six days, looking for manatees. We drove to about 10 places, just to try and see them. Today was the last day of our trip and we finally saw some manatees! We spotted one manatee off of a jetty in the open ocean. After talking to some locals and a ranger, we then went to a river and looked from a dock. There was a hose and some fresh water was pouring into the water. We first saw a manatee in the distance, in the middle of the river, then it got closer and started to drink from the hose! It hung around for about 5 to 10 minutes!
